A CommScope BusinessPartner is:

 • A company that provides services and/or sells products based on cabling technologies. Services may include, but are not limited to, consulting, implementation, training, building development, network migration, application infrastructure design, systems integration, electrical engineering, LAN and WAN implementation, or maintenance/support.

Authorized BusinessPartner
Authorized BusinessPartners are committed to understanding the dynamics of today’s communications world and to delivering SYSTIMAX Structured Connectivity Solutions (SCS) to customers in a truly value-added manner. They are knowledgeable of the SYSTIMAX portfolio and have successfully completed the relevant design, engineering, installation and maintenance training courses. Qualified and approved to register customer sites/networks for the SYSTIMAX 20-year warranty, we believe our Authorized BusinessPartners typically represent the high end of the market in terms of professionalism, quality of work and services performed.

BusinessPartners are selected to become Authorized based on a number of criteria including:

 • Technical Ability - organizations demonstrate a proven technical knowledge of voice and data systems as they are applicable to structured cabling and also relevant installation practices.
 • Experience - only organizations with suitable experience of installing data cabling networks are considered to become an authorized BusinessPartner. Installations are inspected to ensure standards of installation practice are of a high standard.
 • Quality - organizations demonstrate their quality procedures for installation and business practice.
 • Commercial Stability - CommScope understand the importance to our customers of choosing organizations that will be able to serve customers on a long-term basis and are also able to manage large projects with potentially short timescales.
 • Target Markets - CommScope may choose a BusinessPartner to address certain market areas where they have proven experience/skills, e.g. financial institutions, data centers, government, health.

Authorized BusinessPartners receive technical, marketing, and sales information covering CommScope’s range of enterprise solutions. They are also able to offer the 20 year Extended Product and Application Assurance to customers.



Prestige BusinessPartner
Prestige BusinessPartners are differentiated from Authorized BusinessPartners through their level of knowledge, expertise, performance and loyalty, demonstrating a level of excellence in one or all of the following criteria:

 • A knowledge and expertise of the SYSTIMAX Structured Connectivity technology above the already very high standard required to be an Authorized BusinessPartner
 • Design and installation of a very significant number of SYSTIMAX networks to levels of quality and customer satisfaction that exceeds the already very high standard required to be an Authorized BusinessPartner
 • A professional loyalty to CommScope and its customers that has resulted in significantly increasing customer satisfaction with the SYSTIMAX connectivity portfolio 

Commscope sets out the terms by which companies apply and are recruited into the BusinessPartner Program. The formation of this partnership and the associated code of behaviour are defined by a “BusinessPartner Charter”. The customer benefit is that they know there is a structure to the management of BusinessPartners. It is the vehicle by which knowledge and skill is transferred, ensuring the provision of a quality connectivity solution to customers in a consistent manner anywhere across the globe.

SYSTIMAX BusinessPartners have trained professionals on staff, who have proven their knowledge in the latest cabling technology through rigorous certification training. Each BusinessPartner is required to have a number of qualified staff in Design and Engineering, Installation and Maintenance, and where appropriate iPatch® System support courses. Only these personnel can register sites and apply for the SYSTIMAX Warranty, and are re-certified via ongoing training requirements.

All individuals who successfully complete training courses are issued with a training certificate and a unique Photo ID badge for the relevant training course.
