CommScope Enterprise Solutions Adds Enclosures

New line of Racks, Cabinets and Cabling Management products offers a complete solution to meet customer’s unique needs

RICHARDSON, Texas – Feb. 13, 2008 – CommScope Enterprise Solutions, a division of CommScope, Inc. (NYSE:CTV), has launched its CommScope enclosure family of cabinets, racks and cabling management products and solutions, offering customers a heightened performance package.

Created with the same high standards of quality, performance and reliability as CommScope’s physical layer solutions, CommScope Enclosures are specifically designed and built to aid installation, enhance network management and protect CommScope network infrastructure components. Compatible with its SYSTIMAX® and Uniprise® product lines, this new, innovative line of enclosures offers CommScope customers a single source for their network infrastructure components and needs.

The CommScope Enclosure cabinets for network and server equipment are equipped with patented X-Frame technology – an “X”-shaped design that provides easy access to the cables contained in the cabinet while providing support for all CommScope Enterprise products. Customers have the option of glass, solid metal, perforated or split rear doors with cabinet sizes from 600MM, 800MM and 1000MM. Each cabinet comes with a low-profile top cover, complete with three-point entry that supports east/west fiber practice. Brush entry and cable guidance also are available as options.

Within the Enclosures product line, CommScope offers vertical and horizontal cable management devices. The innovative designs of the vertical cable management systems are single and double-sided and come 6, 8, 10 and 12 inches wide with a unique door-latching system that offers a one-point removal system. Its door builds on the 360-design methodology utilized in the SYSTIMAX VisiPatch® 360 System with a sophisticated look and market-leading functionality to improve the installation and utilization experience of the customer. In addition, horizontal cable management options are equipped with dual flip covers and come in sizes 1 through 3U. CommScope racks come with a variety of options to meet a customer’s unique needs and include both two and four-post construction. CommScope racks come with other accessories including shelves, ladder racks and accessories.
