SYSTIMAX iPatch® Real Time Infrastructure Management Solution wins award for ‘Best Cabling Product Range’ from Network Middle East

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, May 3rd, 2007 – CommScope, Inc. (NYSE:CTV), a global leader in infrastructure solutions for communications networks, through its SYSTIMAX Solutions™ brand, won the award for ‘Best Cabling Product Range’ at the Network Middle East Innovation Awards 2007 that were held at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Dubai.


"The Best Cabling Product Range Award recognizes a fundamental part of any IT infrastructure, which is crucial to the long-term prospects of an enterprise. The award goes to CommScope, for its SYSTIMAX iPatch Real-Time Infrastructure Management Solution, from the recognized market leader in structured cabling systems," announced Steve Marney, master of ceremonies at the NME Innovation Awards 2007.

 

Dominic Morris, Regional Channel Manager, SYSTIMAX Solutions accepted the award and commented, “I believe that this award validates the SYSTIMAX Solutions approach to product development, which is to commit significant resources to our research and development efforts” he said.

The iPatch solution enables data center managers real-time remote control over the network’s physical infrastructure. This affords increased levels of security, improved manageability, especially when faced with situations such as disaster recovery whilst accommodating reduced running costs with increased productivity.

Nominations for the iPatch System came from a combination of end-users, distributors, resellers and integrators.
